Also, I've been doing seemingly very well lately. It seems like I'm growing in a lot of different and unexpected ways, and I'm developing these relationships with people that I never would have expected. Another cool thing is that it seems like my insecurities are more or less fading? Well, not completely, but I see them slowly melting, if that makes sense.

Also, apparently, I'm the King of Analogies. I had a conversation yesterday where I literally made like four or five analogies in a row... it's honestly to the point where I'm embarrassed when I talk, because everyone is laughing about how I can't just explain things otherwise. It's funny for me, as well, but still. Haha. Anyway, four or five different people have mentioned it independently of one another, so I guess it's legit. I always knew that I loved making analogies, but I guess I didn't know how impressive it was to be able to see immediate visual-language connections between different abstract concepts and then explaining that.

I think that I might be going to Indiana today. If not today, then tomorrow. I hope traffic won't be shitty since it's the 4th of July and and we need to celebrate and travel, or whatever.

I have not been making art. I have some ideas, but it's just fan art. I mean, I fucking love my fan art, because it's never official and I almost always like it more than the original stuff, but I mean... I get to the point with most of my designs, anymore, that you could not see any traces of the original except, perhaps, in the spirit of the design. So why not start from scratch? Another thing I've been thinking about is how ill-prepared I am to ever design goth-looking stuff. For whatever reason, maybe not because I would actually be bad, but because I'm thinking about it too much, I really think I wouldn't be able to draw all that frilly dark shit. At least a bunch of other people do it, so I won't have to.

Slightly related almost not at all, I'm really intrigued by this game BlazBlue. It's for the PS3, which I own, and it's a 2D fighting game... and it looks crazy. It's made by the same people who made Guilty Gear, except that the sprites are MUCH bigger and more detailed, and the combat seems a lot smoother, as well. The designs are pretty crazy. This one character Taokaka, is this hooded catgirl mystery. She seems to be a mixture of Hsein-Ko from Darkstalkers and the female Mime from Final Fantasy Tactics, plus blonde pigtails. And there is another character that looks exactly like No Face from Spirited Away, EXCEPT BLOODY AND SCARY AND EVIL AND WITH A CREEPY SKELETON ARM. Seriously, that fucker is weird, and doesn't match the style of ANY of the other characters. Well, Taokaka has this black, shadowed face with a scary smile and red eyes, so maybe there's a similarity there.

So. The point is that I need art to do and I'd appreciate it if people gave me suggestions. I know, I've done this before and I've never followed up, but seriously. Times is changing, and maybe I'll do something. Plus, it's not that hard to come up with shit you'd like to see someone draw. Actually. Think of shit you would want ME to draw. Because I'm interested in seeing what people think I'd be good at drawing, or what they think would be a challenge, or just something that would be neat if I were the one making it. Forewarned, I'm not gonna draw any fucking cars or windows or anything in perspective. Or porn.
